Artist's Comments
This is a picture of my black vinyl corset I made about half a year ago.
This time, the picture is more photographic than useful for looking on the details of the corset. A photographer I am friends with made some pictures about two weeks ago, including a series with my vinyl clothes, but because I didn't make the pictures myself but made the clothes on the pic, I submitted this in "clothes". The corset is made from a pattern I found in the book "Period costumes for stage and screen" by Jean Hunnisett. It's not perfect because the vinyl fabric is hard to work with. This corset has metal boning and a 30cm long busk. The skirt is made by me as well, only the gloves are purchased. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I like this material a lot and normally I don't have too much problems, but with the corset it was quite hard.
