Like I wrote in my journal yesterday: here's the announced bustle gown.

For the bodice I used the "tail Bodice" pattern from Truly Victorian, although I usually don't like commercial patterns but I loved that particular pattern for so long now.

The skirt is one piece with an attatched small drapery at the front.

A I worked on it I suddelndly felt that I won't wear it, although I still like the design somehow ... so I laid the gown aside for some time, and as I decided to finish it (because I have not much space for tons of unfinished stuff) I just made it less elaborate as it should be in the beginning.

I'm going to sell the gown - if there are any interested people out there ;)

I'm only going to wear it tomorrow for some nice pictures, perhaps in the evening as well but I think I'll change clothes then ;)

Sorry for the crappy pictures, had bad light and a bad camera and no interest in spending more than a few minutes to edit the pics ;)

Hmm, I gave it to a friend, so I made her a special price .. if I had to do it as a comission .. I would first have to calculate how long it took to make it, I didn't count the hours here ;)
And then it would be a question of the chosen material. It's not so easy to say what such a gown would cost, it depends on too much things ;)
