Timelord Headdress #2

A bespoke piece for a customer who wanted a headdress, covered in the fabric of a gown she made herself.

These headdresses are inspired by the hood of The Inqisitor aka Darkelatraquistahastrad from classic Doctor Who's "Trial of a Time Lord". The prototype was covered in black satin and trimmed with silver braid.

They are built over a felt base with wire that was handstitched to the edges. The base is then covered in fabric, trimmed and finished to hide all the seams. Everthing is handstitched and comes with clips or combs attached to the brim, according to what my clients prefer.
