TARDIS wedding gown

Finally - here it is - the first picture of my happy client, wearing the TARDIS gown I designed and made for her - she had a Doctor Who themed wedding with the groom dressed up in the 10th Doctor's suit.

Back to the dress - it is of course a bespoke piece, made to measure, the rhinestones are attached by hand to the fabric, the bodice has a machine-ebroidered "Police box" sign, carried out in silver thread, the top fabric is doupion silk.
The skirt is made from two layers - one consits of ruffled tulle to give it volume, mounted on a satin lining, and the layered top skirt from chiffon, also mounted on a satin lining - overall, the skirt alone is made from 25 metres of fabric.
