I made this Suit many years before I started to sew "real" historic clothes.
"Interview with the Vampire" is one of my favourite movies, and I completely fell in love with the costumes in that movie, especially the men's suits  although they are far away from being "authentic", as I now know.This is my interpretation of Lestats blue and gold rococo suit, but I chose the colors black and silver for my version. It's made of black velvet ironed on vliseline and white cotton and lace for the shirt. |

The suit has a few mistakes I have to repair some time.
I also like the tournure dress of the female vampire with the red hair in the catacombs, but I can't get good pictures of it *grrr*

Yes, Lesat is great *gg* .. normally I don't like Tom Cruise a lot but as Lesat ... just great
I wish I could make my boyfriend wear something historical as well, but rococo wouldn't suit him
