Back view of my Robe a L'Anglaise.
The gown is entirely handsewn, apart from the lining of the anglaise itself. I had to alter it a few times so I got upset and used my sewing machine. The top fabric is still handsewn with silk thread. The whole gown is made of silk, the fichu is from very fine cotton lawn. The pictures are taken at Schloss Fantaisie at Bayreuth, by  my boyfriend.I hope he uploads some new stuff the next days as well  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. usually I dont like weraing colors, but I like that gown, fells good to wear
If you would have asked me some years ago I would have called everyone being mad who does handsewing myself *g* but once I've tried I found it is quite relaxing and makes garments that are meant to be historical correct a little bit more perfect
Actually I'm working on an elizabethan citizen. Although it is already wearable, there are still missing some acessoires
