Description
New hoop skirt, 320cm circumference at the bottom, 4 metal hoops, tulle ruffles.
Since my old "small" hoop skirt was quite worn out, I wanted to make a new one in time for an event at samhain - I didn't have the time so I had to wear the old one then - luckily, because I accidentially got into a burning candle on the floor and not only my latest gown got destroyed, but also the undesrkirt and the hoop skirt.
But luckily nothing happenend to myself apart from a blister on my hand.
Since the hoop skirt was already worn out I was glad that I didn't have the new one yet that evening.
The underskirt can be replaced as well and the remnants of the old one will be turned into something beautifully new as well. And I can repair the overgown as well - so everythings fine

Brilliant in concept and design, and kicking ass in your execution! I have a hoop skirt of my own, and also a Cartridge-pleated strapless dress (My homage to Amy Brown Style Faeries). Although I didn't use tulle, the sheer black organza was probably the more masochistic of fabric choices to work with!
Anyway, your work is excellently crafted, as always! Your color/design choices merge to create clothing that "makes a fantastically BOLD statement" (sorry about the cliche phrase). But that statement that is elegant, powerful, and unforgettable!!!
You were one of the first costumers that caught my eye when I first joined DA. It's too bad that California and Germany are so far apart. I'd love to get to know you and your techniques, inspirations, etc..better. (WOW...do I sound like a dorky-stalker-uber-fan!) Sorry about that.
